Cheektowaga sits about 20 minutes from our base in Elma Center, and our trailer is no stranger to it. Recent work has taken us into the wood streets off Borden Road near Losson, the neighborhood where every street is a Cherrywood or a Baywood or a Knollwood, for mulch and weeding work on exactly the kind of established colonial those streets are known for.

Cheektowaga's mix of late-80s colonials and postwar ranches means most yards here do not need a redesign. They need maintenance done well: old mulch refreshed at proper depth instead of thin bag-mulch top-ups, edges recut so beds hold their line, weeds actually pulled instead of buried, and the shrubs that came with the house 30 years ago either trimmed back into shape or swapped for something sized right.
